A Florida company has thrown some essence of kick scooter, two cups of skateboard, a dash of bike seasoning, and perhaps even slice of Kangoo- or trampoline-like jump action into the idea mixer and cooked up what looks like one fun ride. When riders step down on its flexible deck, a special drive mechanism propels the Bowboard forward. Acton teases the collapsible electric M Scooter

Last year, Acton, Inc. made quite an impression with its spnKiX motorized skates, and it looks like the company has even more personal vehicles in the works. Recently the company revealed a new electric motorbike called the M Scooter, which the company claims can fold up into about half its size for easier storage. Besides being a more compact and eco-friendly form of transport, Acton estimates that its electric scooter will cost less than US$0.10 per day to drive under normal use. Read More

A terminal fit for a Hyperloop?

If Elon Musk's Hyperloop is to come to fruition, it's going to need passenger terminals. But where Musk's design proposes terminals with turntables to rotate transport capsules, industrial designer Serge Roux has come up with an alternative, and one which lives up to the Hyperloop brand. Roux's idea is much like a gondola cable car system, involving an endless loop (you see) to and from which passengers embark and disembark at either end. S-Walker Board turns a balance board into a personal transportation device
