Ever wondered just how rugged Garmin's eTrex GPS actually is? Take a look at these photos of fully functioning eTrex that's been through a bomb blast of sufficient magnitude to completely write off a Humvee.

The amazing pictures come courtesy of Gizmodo - who originally posted a photo of the wrecked Humvee alongside them, before it was removed at the request of an Army Major who cited a violation of "Operational Security restrictions."

If you're in the unfortunate position of needing a GPS this hardy, you'll have to look elsewhere - the eTrex is a discontinued product.
