Nissan readies smart rear vision combining mirror, LCD and image processing

Nissan has announced a new rear vision system that integrates a wide-aspect, hi-res LCD monitor with image processing into the traditional rearview mirror. The "smart" mirror provides clearer rearward visibility under adverse conditions, and enables the driver to switch between LCD and traditional mirror modes.
