Having become acquainted with the tiny but mighty Zero FX, and struggled through a thorough technology briefing at the Zero factory, it was time to try the "base models" of the 2015 Zero range. The Zero S (streetbike) and Zero DS (dual sport) both share the same platform in terms of frame, motor and the giant monolith battery pack. Exotic, Italian, Electric: The Energica Ego electric street superbike

Italy's Energica has just announced the 2015 revision of its Ego street superbike. At 100 kW (134 horsepower), 195 Nm (143.8 lb.ft) and 11.7 kWh of battery on board, it'll be a road rocketship capable of an emission-free 240 km/h (149 mph) top speed ... and it looks the part of an exotic Italian sportsbike, too.
