EarthCam's solar-powered TrailerCam is designed as an an eco-friendly solution for monitoring construction sites. Together with Control Center 7 software, the appliance provides HD images that allow project managers to monitor site progress live from a remote location, archive footage for dispute resolution and online promotion, as well as proving a viable telecommuting option for professionals working on the jobsite.

The TrailerCam is designed to provide constantly updated information to staff and project managers that reduces the need for time consuming travel and site inspections. It features solar power, battery/solar status monitoring, a 30-foot telescoping mast, and web-based remote 360-degree camera rotation. The Control Center 7 software manages the system. Time and date stamped archived images verify concrete load delivery, pouring, construction activities, and weather conditions, at more than four times the image quality of most webcams.

“Our Control Center 7 is the centerpiece of our environmentally responsible and cost savings systems for managing construction sites, whether pouring concrete or raising steel,” said Brian Cury, founder and CEO of EarthCam. “Remote live collaboration, sharing images and time-lapse review greatly reduce the need for costly team travel and permit managers to view and direct activities of multiple projects from one location,” Cury said.

EarthCam will demonstrate the solar-powered TrailerCam at the GREENSITE exhibit at the World of Concrete in Las Vegas, Nevada, from January 22-25.
