June 4, 2009 The household pet provides a constant source of companionship, healthy activity for the whole family and even helps reduce anxiety - but the mess at meal times is something that pet owners everywhere would gladly do a way with. The Neater Feeder is designed to keep your pets' uncivilized table manners on a leash by containing spills, splashes, and splatter that would otherwise end up on your floor .

The key to the Neater Feeder design is a two-container system with protective walls and a unique colander-like filtering system. The colander filters out the water which drains into the lower reservoir, whilst the food in contained in the upper reservoir to be safely eaten or easily discarded. The water can be reused for your pet or plants, or neatly discarded without ever touching your floors. The design is ant-proof, keeps the pet dining area more sanitary and provides the benefits of an elevated feeder.

“The spill-proof and kick-proof design will keep you from worrying about water-stained wood, splattered baseboards, warped tiles, or sloppy floors around your pet’s bowls ever again”, says Fernando Becattini, Jr., President of TowerStar Pets, LLC.

Recently given as a gift to the First Family to celebrate the arrival of the presidential pooch, the Neater Feeder is available in two sizes - the small Neater Feeder is appropriately sized for all cats and dogs up to 35 pounds, and the larger Neater Feeder is designed for breeds 35 to 100-plus pounds. There are optional leg extensions available to increase feeding height, which is also beneficial for a dogs’ digestion and joint health. The Neater Feeder is made from recyclable polypropylene plastic and is dishwasher safe.

Neat indeed!
Only, TowerStar Pets LLC do not know much about (non vegan) pets. It is encoded in cats and dogs DNA NOT to drink water where a dead animal (ie meal) lays. Rather logically, so as to avoid water contamination. So, neater feeder might work ok, but any healthy animal with decent self esteem will try to drink water that is at least a few meters apart from his food, that is why they so often drink in the toilets... You want to give it a try, buy two units for your beloved pet, one for food & one for water, that ll be a lot more inline with its genetics and education.
