Laptops, cameras and other portable devices are often essential traveling companions, but the downside is the accompanying mess of incompatible charging units which can add considerable weight and take up precious luggage space. iGo aims to lighten this load with its recently launched line of multi-device chargers that allow you to charge a laptop and mobile device simultaneously.

Billed as the "most compatible multi-device chargers ever", the range consists of the USD$139.99 everywhereMAX and theUSD$99.99 wallMAX.

Using interchangeable power tips compatible with brands such as Apple, Dell, Compaq/HP, LG, Motorola, Nokia, Palm, Samsung, Sony and Toshiba, the everywhereMAX weighs less than one pound and can charge appliances from wall outlets, auto outlets and airplane seats. The wallMAX can charge the same variety of devices, but only from a wall outlet.

“Every year, laptops and electronic devices get faster, smarter and smaller—advancements that encourage users to take them everywhere,” said Michael D. Heil, president and chief executive officer of iGo. “With the iGo MAX chargers, the consumer is presented with one simple product for all their charging needs.”
