February 12, 2008 Hyundai's main attraction at next month's Geneva motor show will be the HED-5 concept - a six seat MPV that promises fuel efficient versatility through the use of revolutionary materials and construction techniques.

Details are scarce on the HED-5 at this stage with only design sketches released of the vehicle which has been developed in co-operation with innovation partners such as Recaro, Bayer and LG.

Part of a “near production” package of fuel efficiency innovations that Hyundai believes can also cut CO2 emissions by almost 30 percent without compromising performance, the showing follows the company's unveiling of the Genus and Accent SR Turbo concepts at last year's Geneva event and will coincide with the premiere of a facelifted version of the Matrix.
