Hanebrink Links BRINK golf-oriented electric bike detailed

Details have now surfaced for the golf-specific, and fourth, Hanebrink electric bike we briefly mentioned a few days ago. The Links BRINK features many of the same specs as the bikes that have come before it, including those wonderful chunky 20-inch (50cm) diameter, 8-inch (20cm) wide tubeless tires, but has an easy mount and dismount frame and comes supplied with its own custom two-wheeled golf trolley.
The new golf-centric Hanebrink pedelec bike was developed in response to requests from the golfing industry for a faster charging and somewhat cleaner alternative to existing four-wheeled golf carts that would also have less impact on the turf. It's said to allow a player to proceed directly to the ball, wherever it may land, as well as offer users the chance to get some gentle exercise while on the way to the next hole.
It features the same 36 V, 9.6 Ah LiNMC battery pack and 750 watt, 7-speed brushless electric motor as the recently unveiled Hanebrink III all-terrain bike, although it's unlikely that golfers will be climbing any of the steep hills for which the latter was developed.
The Links BRINK benefits from a 6061 - T6 aircraft seamless aluminum tube frame specifically designed for easy on and off, there's somewhere to keep your score card in the middle of the handlebars and a bottle holder to the left of the heavy duty aluminum rack at the rear that's actually filled with divot repair mixture but could be used to hold a container of liquid refreshment.
The rear rack is also where the two-wheeled Clicgear golf trolley is fitted to the bike. Elsewhere, the 90 pound (40 kg) Link BRINK features a comfy gel saddle atop an easy adjust telescopic seat post, hydraulic disc brakes front and rear, dual-crown triple-clamp forks with 8-inches (20cm) of adjustable travel and a Shimano derailleur.
The company's Kane Fortune told us that orders are currently being accepted for the new electric golf ride priced at US$6,500, although there's no dedicated product page on the website at the time of writing.
