Norsat has released details of the GLOBETrekker, a revolutionary backpackable, broadband satellite system that offers a reliable broadband connection on short notice -- anywhere in the world -- even in harsh and hostile conditions. In the same way we have seen computers and cell phones reduced from suitcase to palmtop, the same miniaturisation process is being applied to broadband satellite communications, and Norsat’s GLOBETrekker is the current state-of-the-art.
