Digital Foci, Inc. will unveil three new additions to its customizable Image Moments digital photo frame range at the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in January including a new a 5.7-inch model billed as having the highest pixel density display available on the market.

The 5.7-inch, VGA (640x480) Image Moments 6 screen features LED backlighting with pixel density of 140 PPI (pixel per inch) and a two-tone, mirror-polished chrome finish.

The new line-up is completed by the 15-inch, XGA (1024x768), 16.2 million color Image Moments 15 and the 8-inch, SVGA (800x600) Image Moments 8, both of which offer custom framing options using the company's proprietary Adapter Ring design. The frames also feature an interchangeable mat with 3 color selections; a hinged memory card door to hide the cards from view and an easel leg for alternating between landscape and portrait orientation.

Contrast ratios are 700:1, 500:1 and 300:1 for the 15", 8" and 5.7" models respectively and all frames include 200MB of internal memory and built-in memory card slots for CompactFlash, MicroDrive, SD/HC card, MMC, Memory Stick, MS PRO, xD-Picture Card, and MS Duo/MS PRO Duo along with a USB slot for connection to a computer.

Playback functionality includes a random “Photo Slideshow Mode" along with video and music playback (supporting MP3, AAC, WMA, OGG and WAV file formats - ) via in-built stereo speakers with frequency response range of 300-20K Hz. Portrait and landscape photos are automatically rotated to display correctly according to the orientation of the image and a new power-saving automatic on/off timer with three schedule settings has been added. Avaialble from March 2008, Image Moments15 (IMT-153) is priced at USD$399, Image Moments 8 (IMT-083) is priced at USD$199, and Image Moments 6 (IMT-063) is priced at USD$149.
