Crayola has introduced a new line of art tools for toddlers that are ergonomically designed just for tiny hands. The egg-shaped crayons, markers and paints are completely washable and let children 12 to 36 months scribble and paint up a colorful storm.

The “Crayola Beginnings” range includes TaDoodles First Marks markers, Crayon Buddies and All-in-One Paints in aptly named colors such as please pink, oopsie orange and pattycake purple. This is the biggest overhaul to the Crayola range in more than 100 years and is aimed at tots ages 12-36 months. They can now explore art at an earlier age using the egg-shaped characters, while building confidence, language and writing abilities, and motor skills.

Also new from Crayola are the school bus-like B.U.V. (Beginnings Utility Vehicle) for ages 18 months+, Color Wonder Mess-Free Paint for ages 3 years an up and Model Magic Fusion for older kids aged 5 years and over. Model Magic fusion is a soft, clean, air-drying modeling material that lets kids’ sculptures come to life like with new textures and colors.
