Portuguese designer Gabriela Gomes has created an interesting mix of art and architecture with this portable shelter installation. The cloud-like "Shelter ByGG" has been designed do provoke discussion on sustainability issues with its use of 100 percent non-polluting and recycled materials such as cork along with solar roof panels to supply the module with energy.
Conceived as a portable "itinerant object," the Shelter ByGG is currently on display in the center of Guimarães, Portugal, where guests can take up the opportunity to spend the night. Reservations are available online at Shelter ByGG, with accommodation per night, for two people costing €100 (US$126).
