This is actually a very interesting concept, despite what some ding-dongs might say. Using hybrid tech is, I believe, the most intelligent way to proceed with the development of sustainable energy needs. The simple economical reality is that we cannot change our energy needs in the blink of an eye, and we desperately need interim measures which will allow our current industrial base to transition to an enviromentally friendly model. Jeez, let's take what little we can get, and proceed from here. We can take turns slaying the petroleum nightmares later, if we're still around to do so.

Oh the irony.. this design was the first application of turbo charged vehicles to improve power minus the air storage tank.

What about StarRotor? A rotary engine would be simpler and more efficient using similar principles.
