If it wasn't for space technology we wouldn't know we had an ozone layer or be able to monitor it effectively.

Well all this is exciting but when all these machines pierce out through the ozone bubble they may cause a leak of the ozone.....................

Jesse Kuch, The space program does and always will have only a negligible effect on the ozone layer. The depletion of the ozone layer was largely the result of hundreds of millions of refrigerators and other devices that used chlorofluorocarbons. Airliners also have some effect but not enough to do any real harm. The airline industry is actively working on this problem, with Virgin airlines, ironically, being one of the most active in this area.

Do your homework before you make stupid comments.
