Life Saver: beach rescue design concept uses solar energy

This concept was done by the prototyping arm of the mythbusters show. They had both the Airborne life jacket delivery and a aircannon delivery system. This was setup so that a swimmer on a private or secluded beach wearing a wristwatch transponder could activate the system if they got into trouble.

So I think this is neither a unique concept, nor cutting edge.

@Tobugrynbak: This concept wants to help to save time when the victim is both conscious and not.

Plus, the key point of this project is the time saved because the bodyguard starts to apply a first life support on board, while the vehicle brings both to the shoreline.

So, I think it has nothing to do with what you say.
