    Type 1 diabetes vaccine moving to human trials in Finland
    Researchers in Finland have been investigating investigating the link between viral infections and type 1 diabetes for over 25 years. They now believe they have targeted the particular virus group that can trigger the disease and will begin human clinical trials of a vaccine in 2018.

    In an attempt to establish a less invasive method of detecting prostate cancer and preserve the quality of life for many suffers, Finnish researchers have developed an electronic nose capable of sniffing the patient's urine sample to distinguish between prostate cancer and benign disease.
