The existing petrol-engined Peugeot Partner.

Peugeot is to add an electric version of its Partner LCV (Light Commercial Vehicle) to the range during the 2nd quarter of 2013. With a drive train developed in conjunction with Mitsubishi, the Partner Electrique runs a single permanent magnet, synchronous electric motor producing 49kW (67bhp) and torque of 200Nm and has a range of 170km (105 miles). The LCV will be available in short and long wheelbase versions (4.38m and 4.63m), both with claimed class-leading load volumes.  Read More

The Iveco Electric Daily light commercial vehicle prototype

Iveco is showing a prototype of its new Electric Daily in Brazil, a vehicle destined to become the first zero emission light commercial vehicle produced in Latin America. The vehicle has regenerative braking, a range of 100km (65 miles) and a fully-laden top speed of 70kmh (43mph).  Read More

Nissan NV200 people carrier and light Commercial NV200 production details

We first glimpsed Nissan's NV200 small van at the 2007 Tokyo Show when it displayed one of the most intelligent design concepts we've seen for a commercial vehicle. Now, the wraps are off the production version of the global small van and although three versions of the NV200 will be available, the box-within-box concept is sadly gone. Despite feeling we've been short-changed, the NV200 has an intelligent layout with seats that fold unconventionally to offer the largest load space (4.1 m3) in its class, petrol or diesel and a low cost of ownership.  Read More
