Fujifilm has been at the center of the rumor mill for the past couple of weeks, after the company teased a new camera on its X system website. The now-fully-disclosed 16 MP X-T1 mirrorless interchangeable lens camera boasts over 75 weather seals and can cope with temperatures as low as -14° F (-25.6° C). It benefits from fast autofocus, high sensitivity and strong continuous shooting performance, and also sports an OLED electronic viewfinder with the world's highest magnification for a digital camera and shortest display lag.  Read More

The Fujifilm X-M1 interchangeable lens camera system

Fujifilm has announced the forthcoming release of the X-M1, the third member of the company's X-Series interchangeable lens camera systems. The lightweight compact sports the same 16.3 megapixel sensor found in the X-Pro1 and X-E1, as well as up to ISO25600 sensitivity, built-in Wi-Fi technology and an LCD display that tilts vertically. When Fujifilm unveiled its new line-up ahead of CES 2012, there was a feeling among enthusiasts that the company was holding something back. Sure enough, the Japanese photography behemoth has now pulled back the curtain to reveal a new interchangeable lens digital camera system called the X-Pro1. The 16 megapixel camera will be initially joined by three prime lenses when made available next month, with more to follow later on.
