Willie bus concept plasters public transport with LCD billboards

A new bus concept by designer Tad Orlowski puts a more modern spin on the idea, integrating large LCDs on the broad sides of the bus. Jony Ive and Marc Newson design Leica M camera for (RED)

This special edition Leica M digital camera has been designed by Apple's design guru, Jony Ive, and industrial designer, Marc Newson, for the (RED) charity. The one-of-a-kind camera features a laser machined aluminum body, an anodized aluminum outer shell, and looks like the love-child of a Lecia M, a MacBook and the Instagram logo. Conran re-imagines the camera … with a big hole

The Conran design firm was recently asked to re-imagine an everyday item by BBC Future. Its designers picked the digital camera, and the resulting concept certainly is different. The Conran camera does away with the typical protruding lens and instead features a large hole through the middle, surrounded by an array of small camera sensors. It also lacks an LCD monitor and is instead designed to wirelessly connect to a smartphone. Read More
