The Lexus RC F debuted at the Detroit Auto Show

Lexus has unveiled the 2015 Lexus RC F at the 2014 North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Building on the sporty image of the RC coupe unveiled in Tokyo last year, the latest iteration of the four-seater, rear-wheel drive compact executive coupé features a 2UR-GSE V8 engine and other refinements to allow for the larger powertrain.  Read More

At the 2013 Frankfurt Motor Show, Volvo shot us a peek at a bolder future with the simply-named Concept Coupé. In addition to styling, the concept was meant to showcase one application of Volvo's new Scalable Product Architecture, which will make its production debut on the 2015 XC90. The new-look Rolls-Royce has ticked off its first decade in business since relaunching under BMW ownership with the most potent car in its history, the Wraith coupe. The Wraith heralds a major new innovation for the company in its Satellite Aided Transmission (SAT), which gives its 8-speed ZF gearbox the ability to plan the drive ahead according to GPS data. The Callaway AeroWagon package broadens the hatchback on the new Corvette

Chevrolet offered the first Corvette hatchback on the 1982 Collector Edition. This model and future Corvettes that repeated the hatchback feature added convenience and versatility to the sports coupe. Apparently Callaway doesn't feel that Chevy developed the hatchback enough over the past three decades and has broadened the hatchback on the new Corvette, creating a Corvette wagon.  Read More

The Aston Martin Vanquish Centenary Edition

Last week, on January 15, Aston Martin celebrated its centenary. To mark the occasion, the car maker unveiled its Centenary Edition Vanquish. Billed by Aston Martin as the “ultimate GT car,” this bespoke version of the luxury coupe will be available worldwide, though only 100 vehicles will be built. The company has also announced that similar centenary editions of the V8 Vantage, DB9 and Rapide are in the offing.  Read More

BMW's best selling 3-Series has for nearly four decades been the brand's introductory model – the first taste of a BMW for prospective aficionados. As the BMW range has grown, the larger 5-Series and 7-Series have found more sporty, more stylish and more upmarket coupe derivatives in the 6-Series and 8-Series respectively. Now, the pattern is set to continue with the 4-series, to be shown as a concept at the NAIAS (Detroit Motor Show) in January, but one already slated for production within 12 months.  Read More
