Last November, BMW DesignworksUSA announced that it was in the process of designing a new state-of-the-art two-man bobsled for the US Bobsled Team. At the time, only a vague teaser sketch of the sled was available. Now that one of the prototypes has been raced, however, we get to see some actual photos – and the thing looks pretty sharp. Despite an available ALL4 all-wheel drive, the MINI Countryman isn't necessarily the most ideal car to take off road – unless of course it's outfitted for Dakar dominance. BMW's best selling 3-Series has for nearly four decades been the brand's introductory model – the first taste of a BMW for prospective aficionados. As the BMW range has grown, the larger 5-Series and 7-Series have found more sporty, more stylish and more upmarket coupe derivatives in the 6-Series and 8-Series respectively.
