Keeping Rover hydrated on long walks is a problem which has generated some clever solutions and RuffBowl – a clip-on bowl for retractable dog-leashes – can be added to this list.
RuffBowl fits "pretty much any standard large retractable leash," according to creator Sammy Lopez. It is designed to be quickly clipped-off with one finger and holds 4.5 oz. of water (so most thirsty dogs will be looking for second and third helpings).
A slot cut in the clip section of the US$8 bowl also allows it to double as a dog-poop bag holder, keeping the used bag and its used contents away from your hand (and even further away from your body) until you can dispose if it properly.
