Riversimple hydrogen-powered urban car provides fuel for thought
Images Gallery User Comments (3)Are they quoting CO2 emissions from the reformation of methane, the most economical way to make hydrogen?
What is the range of this car? At what speed? What is the top speed?
In the video, it is claimed that regenerative braking on other cars captures only 10% of the energy but that this car recaptures 50%. That seems about the right order of magnitude accounting for all the generation-inversion-charge-discharge-inversion-motor losses. However, the claim that the other guys lose 90% and they only lose 50% is not substantiated and lacks credibility.

If he isn't profit-driven, then he won't be a successful businessman. People have to be compensated for investing their money. The only way to do that is by making a profitable business to pay off the creditors. Perhaps he could sell his idea to the Obama administration. I hear they are in the business of making cars! http://economicefficiency.blogspot.com/2009/05/good-bye-gm-hello-peoples-car.html
