Tablet users who want to utilize their tablet PCs as desktop workstations would no doubt appreciate an Android-tailored wireless mouse. Announced this May, the Logitech mouse for Android 3.1+ is now available for purchase online, and joins the previously-launched tablet-oriented physical keyboard.

Logitech Tablet Mouse for Android 3.1+

The blue Logitech mouse is billed a "first-ever mouse made for Android tablets," although it doesn't come with any tablet-specific functions. Its range is up to 30 feet (9.14 m), an operating distance that probably won't be required by many users. The mouse's specifications sheet says it's compatible with Android 3.1 (Honeycomb) or later. Powered via two AA batteries, the Logitech Tablet Mouse for Android 3.1+ features two buttons and a scroll wheel, and comes with a protective pouch. It is priced at US$49.99.

Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android 3.0+

Compatible with devices running Android 3.0 or later, the Logitech keyboard utilizes Bluetooth connectivity (up to 30 feet / 9.14 m) and is powered via four AAA batteries. It comes with a carrying case which doubles as a tablet stand. The Logitech Tablet Keyboard for Android 3.0+ is priced at US$54.99 via Amazon.
