My husband cannot walk anymore due to MS. Could this amazing innovation of an external skeleton be somehow adapted to allow my husbands legs to hold his weight in an upright position, and then to move forward in a walking motion without falling down....maybe using some sort of fuzzy logic to detect and compensate for ballance?
I got excited when I thought how the exoskeleton could possibly be used for the disabled whose muscles have atrophied, and how this could change and enhance the lives of so many wheelchair-bound people - especially children.
Sincerely
