Image Moments customizable digital photo frame

Digital photo frames are a booming market with over 1.7 million sold in the U.S. alone in 2006. The latest foray into the market from Digital Foci - the Image Moments 8 - offers 256MB internal memory, eight custom décor framing options and supports a wide range of memory card formats.

Image Moments 8 IMT-083 allows users to customize their framing with interchangeable frames, wall-mounting, and landscape/portrait positioning. The 8-inch, high-resolution 800 x 600 digital LCD screen features 500:1 contrast ratio and reads CompactFlash, MicroDrive, SD/HC card, MMC, Memory Stick, MS PRO, xD-Picture Card, and MS Duo/MS PRO Duo memory card formats without the need for adaptors

The unit's 256MB internal memory can store up to 1500 photos (at 1.6MB) so you don’t need to leave the memory card in the device to view photos and pictures can be copied straight from a memory card to the frame without use if a computer.

Other features include an interchangeable color mat, automatic picture rotation, On/Off timer, hinged memory card door to hide the cards from view and an easel leg for alternating between landscape and portrait orientation. Advanced playback options mean you can view photo side shows, or videos with MP3 music via stereo speakers. You can also zoom in and adjust picture brightness to maximize viewing outcomes.

Retailing for US$199 the Image Moments 8 from Digital Foci comes with a standard black frame, AC power adapter, USB cable and remote control. Additional frame choices can be purchased separately for US$19.95 each.
