June 7, 2007 Presentations are leveraged interpersonal communication and we’re a great believer in having the most effective tools for the job when you have the attention of so many important people at the same time. We love stories about how expertise gained in one industry can be applied to another and the hook with this story is that JACO has been providing point-of-care wireless carts to hospitals worldwide for several decades. The company has now applied its engineering and manufacturing expertise to fill a market void for presentation systems aimed at education, hospitality and professional service firms. The top-of-the-range, 42-inch, height-adjustable Premier System has an integrated computer, high speed WiFi, wireless keyboard/mouse and a battery supply so it offers true mobility without ever requiring the system to be powered down. Moving a complete presentation system from where it is to where it is needed has never been easier. Indeed, it could also be the mobile desktop which you move around the office or home to suit your needs.

The PerfectView product line consists of three models to suit a large variety of applications. The table-height, 32” screen, Executive System, the higher than table-height, 37 or 42 inch Conference System and the 42-inch, height-adjustable Premier System. All models of the PerfectView come complete with an integrated computer system, high speed WiFi networking, wireless keyboard and mouse and a variety of options including the JACO Power System battery supply for true mobility and unrestricted unit placement. All PerfectView systems move easily from one meeting room to another without requiring powering down the system and then logging back into the computer and/or network. Moving a complete presentation system from where it is to where it is needed has never been easier.

“We researched this market pretty carefully to ensure we could provide a solution to a real problem,” said Fred Rossini, JACO’s Founder and President. “Working with our beta sites and potential users, we found that many were indeed struggling with the lack of meeting interaction that comes from staring at a presentation projected on a wall. Further, they were concerned about investing in underutilized capital by outfitting a conference room that often goes unused. Our goal was to develop a presentation system that is fully integrated so non-technical companies can easily and immediately apply it, truly mobile so it easily moves from room to room and the appropriate size and height so that it becomes an integral part of the meeting encouraging eye-to-eye contact and interaction by the meeting participants.”

“We thought that the PerfectView system would increase our productivity and project a more professional image to our clients,” said Jim Britt, IT Director, Choate Hall & Stewart, a major Boston-based law firm, “ but the internal demand was even more encouraging. Our partners and staff requested use of the PerfectView so often that we quickly acquired additional units just to satisfy our internal users.”
