EasyView embeds navigation elements inside video files

EasyView uses on-screen visual cues to deliver playlists of content that can be easily navigated with standard fast forward and rewind controls. Viewers can choose a playlist of content and see this list on the left side of their screen. As the content is played, it automatically expands to fill the screen. At the end of the segment, the playlist is displayed again as the next segment begins. Banner advertising is present as well as the ability to associate interstitial video ads between segments. Advertisers are also able to sponsor particular video channels or playlists. "An important benefit to the operator is the ability to monetize their VOD content using this novel navigation approach," added O'Brien.
