Tuesday September 9, 2003Alfa Romeo's International Concept Car of the Year - the Alfa Romeo - will be on display at the 2003 Sydney International Motor Show from 17-23 October. Designed by ItalDesign, the 300 kW V8 Alfa Romeo Brera is already influencing Alfa Romeo products like the new Alfa Romeo 156 and 156 Sportwagon which will make also their debut at the show. The fully production ready Alfa Romeo Brera is a power sports coupe that draws both on Alfa Romeo's unique styling heritage and that uses the latest technology to produce a coupe that is dramatic to look at and which promises shattering performance. The Brera's bodyshell and drivetrain is entirely made of carbon fibre and its 90' V-shaped mid-front eight-cylinder engine of more than four litres produces almost 300 kW.
