The latest Circulation Audit Bureau figures have been published and Gizmo has had its initial audit. The industry's official circulation auditing authority has verified Gizmo magazine's print circulation as at September 30, 2002 as 69,642 copies per issue. Of course we also do PDF copies of the magazine which can be downloaded from www.gizmo.com.au, and we also have 600 unique visitors per day on average at our web site on top of this, but we're pleased to be able to verify our circulation. Many thanks to all the advertisers who supported us during our initial stages. And if you now feel Gizmo is worthy of advertising support from your company, ring Bill Deliyiannis on (03) 9537 0549 or email Bill@Gizmo.com.au for a ratecard and advertising kit. The booking deadline for the next issue is Friday, March 28.
About the Author
Mike grew up thinking he would become a mathematician, accidentally started motorcycle racing, got a job writing road tests for a motorcycle magazine while at university, and became a writer. As a travelling photojournalist during his early career, his work was published in a dozen languages across 20+ countries. He went on to edit or manage over 50 print publications, with target audiences ranging from pensioners to plumbers, many different sports, many car and motorcycle magazines, with many more in the fields of communication - narrow subject magazines on topics such as advertising, marketing, visual communications, design, presentation and direct marketing. Then came the internet and Mike managed internet projects for Australia's largest multimedia company, Telstra.com.au (Australia's largest Telco), Seek.com.au (Australia's largest employment site), top100.com.au, hitwise.com, and a dozen other internet start-ups before founding Gizmag in 2002. Now he writes and thinks.
