Why not?? Not so long ago this was a "revolutionary" improvement in CrestWave Tidal Force bikes. Now they are out of business (do not accept further orders). Their bike went for some $1500 which was considered expensive. This new one you are writing above goes for more than twice as much.

I rode one here in Dulles the other day...AMAZING. Definitely the coolest E-bike out there.
