In the past year alone we’ve looked at a system to allow people to control a robotic arm and another that enables users to control an ASIMO robot with nothing but the power of thought. Such systems rely on the use of an electroencephalograph (EEG) to capture brain waves and translate them into commands to control a machine. Now researchers at the University of Southampton have used a similar technique to show it is possible to transmit thoughts from one person to another.en gizmag.com Comment on 'Brain-to-brain communication over the Internet' by Michiel Mitchell http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-82465 http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-82465 Tue, 27 Sep 2011 12:27:11 -0500 Comment on 'Brain-to-brain communication over the Internet' by stimpy77 http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-18478 http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-18478 Fri, 26 Mar 2010 22:31:29 -0500 Comment on 'Brain-to-brain communication over the Internet' by Troy Evan Sabean http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-9361 http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-9361 Thu, 15 Oct 2009 08:17:30 -0500 Comment on 'Brain-to-brain communication over the Internet' by Nikki Brown http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-9193 http://www.gizmag.com/brain-to-brain-communication/13055/#comment-9193 Wed, 07 Oct 2009 12:24:33 -0500
