The new Mini John Cooper Works is the most powerful Mini ever

The power output of Mini's John Cooper Works continues to grow. The first "modern" JCW Cooper was released in 2002, and made do with 200 hp (150 kW), which became 211 hp (155 kW) when the R56 Cooper was released. For the latest John Cooper Works, Mini has managed to serve up 231 hp (172 kW), making it the brand's most powerful car ever.  Read More

When BMW launched its X6, the world's motoring press wondered if the Bavarian giant had finally gone insane. After all, who would want a coupe combined with an SUV? As it turns out, the X6 was popular enough to warrant a second generation, and the concept has also been applied to create the smaller X4. The new Willys Interlagos should sprint to 62 mph in just 2.7 seconds Coachbuilding firms Maggiora and Carrozzeria Viotti have collaborated to revive the Willys Interlagos. The gorgeous reinterpretation of the 1960s sportscar's features a turbocharged six-cylinder engine producing 610 hp.  Read More

Mercedes dominated the 2014 Formula One season, with a one-two in the Drivers Championship and a comfortable first placing in the Constructors Championship. To celebrate its success, the German manufacturer has created two special edition SL 63 AMG Roadsters – one dedicated to Lewis Hamilton, the other to Nico Rosberg. Just 38 will be built.  Read More

The Rocket made its debut at the Los Angeles Auto Show

The new Ford Mustang hasn't been out for long, but tuners are already beginning to explore what is possible when given the Mustang’s coupe body and more sophisticated suspension setup. McLaren's P1 needs little introduction: the hybrid-V8 powered hypercar sits in a realm where rivals are scarce, and performance figures are almost beyond comprehension – 0-100 km/h takes just 2.8 seconds, and the car will cover the quarter mile in 9.8 seconds from a standing start. Mercedes has used China's Auto Ghangzhou show to revive the Maybach name on an ultra high-end S-Class. The Mercedes-Maybach S600 is a long-wheelbase, V12-powered flagship for the Mercedes range, and aims to offer a level of exclusivity beyond that offered by the standard S-Class range.  Read More
