Alfa Romeo will exhibit a convertible version of the Alfa 8C Competizione supercar at next month’s Geneva Motor Show ahead of a limited production run. The silky smooth Alfa 8C Spider utilizes the same 450bhp, 4.7 litre V8 as its coupe stablemate via a 6-speed F1-style paddle shift gearbox to the rear wheels.

The dual layer weatherproof roof is controlled from a dashboard-mounted button inside the car's carbon fibre cockpit and can be personalized in different colors.

If you want to get your hands on one of these stunners there's probably not much time to waste - production of the Alfa 8C Spider will be limited to 500 units.

The 78th Geneva Motor show begins on 6 March - stay tuned for more news.
