A2B electric bikes launched in Europe

With the speed control and much smaller wattage mandated by EU regulations, it's perplexing that the battery range would only allow 20 miles. Should be more like 25-30 miles? The ones that we've ridden can easily go 20 miles, at least 25 miles if pedaling.
